1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Crumb Studios LLC (“Crumb Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with our iOS game Toast Clicker (the “App”) and this website, crumbstudiosllc.com.
The App uses Apple’s Game Center service. Some information is handled by Apple through Game Center and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy, not this one. This policy separates what Apple handles from what the App and Crumb Studios handle directly.
2. Summary
- Apple Game Center handles your Game Center account, profile and related features. Apple’s privacy policy covers that information.
- The App stores your game progress and settings on your device, and uses your Game Center player information to provide Game Center features.
- Crumb Studios receives information you send us when you contact us, as well as reports Apple provides to developers, such as crash reports from users who choose to share them.
- We do not sell your personal information.
3. Information handled by Apple Game Center
Toast Clicker uses Apple Game Center. If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, Apple provides the Game Center service, including sign-in, your player profile, friends, and features such as leaderboards and achievements where the App offers them.
Game Center is operated by Apple Inc. Apple collects and processes Game Center information under its own terms and privacy policy. Crumb Studios does not control how Apple handles that information. You can read Apple’s policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
When you use Game Center with Toast Clicker, Apple may give the App the following information:

Depending on your Game Center settings, other Game Center players may be able to see your display name, scores and achievements. You can manage Game Center, including signing out and privacy settings, in your device’s Settings → Game Center.
4. Information the App handles directly
Toast Clicker stores the following information on your device so the game works between sessions:
- Game progress and state, such as your progress, totals and unlocked items.
- Settings and preferences, such as sound and other in-game options.
This information is kept in the App’s storage on your device. If you use Apple features that back up or sync your device, such as iCloud Backup, that data may be included in those backups under Apple’s terms.
The App does not ask you to create a Crumb Studios account, and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location or payment information.
5. Information Apple provides to developers
As the App’s developer, Crumb Studios may receive information from Apple through App Store Connect, including:
- Crash reports and diagnostics from users who have chosen to share analytics with app developers in their device settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements).
- App Store reports, such as download, sales and usage statistics. Apple provides these to developers in aggregated or de-identified form.
We use this information to fix problems, improve the App and understand how the App is performing.
6. Information you give us when you contact us
If you email us for support or any other reason, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and anything you choose to include, such as screenshots or device details. We use this information only to respond to you and to fix any problems you report.
7. Advertising and analytics services
As of the date above, Toast Clicker does not include third-party advertising or third-party analytics software development kits (SDKs).
We plan to add advertising to Toast Clicker in a future update. Before that update is released, we will revise this policy to name the advertising provider, describe what information it collects and how it is used, and explain your choices, including Apple’s App Tracking Transparency controls where they apply. We will also update the App’s privacy details on the App Store. The same applies if we add an analytics service.
8. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- provide and run the App, including saving your progress and supporting Game Center features;
- respond to support requests and other messages;
- find and fix bugs, crashes and performance problems;
- maintain the security and integrity of the App; and
- comply with legal obligations.
9. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information only:
- with Apple, as needed to provide Game Center and App Store features;
- with service providers who help us run our business, such as our email provider, only as needed to provide their services to us;
- when required by law, or when needed to protect the rights, property or safety of Crumb Studios, our users or others; and
- as part of a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under this policy.
10. How long we keep information
Game progress and settings stay on your device until you delete the App or its data. We keep support emails only as long as needed to resolve your request and for reasonable record-keeping, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Apple keeps Game Center information under its own policies.
11. Children’s privacy
Crumb Studios does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13, or under the minimum age set by local law, without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, please contact us and we will delete it. Game Center accounts for children are managed through Apple’s Family Sharing and parental controls.
12. Your choices and rights
- Game Center: You can sign out of Game Center or change its privacy settings in Settings → Game Center. To access or delete your Game Center data, contact Apple through its privacy page.
- Data on your device: Deleting the App removes the game data stored in the App on your device. Copies may remain in your device backups until those backups are deleted.
- Crash data sharing: You can turn off sharing with app developers in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
- Information you sent us: You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you have sent us by contacting us at the address below.
Depending on where you live, for example in California, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under local law. These can include the right to know about, access, correct, delete or move your personal information, and to object to or restrict how it is processed. To use any of these rights, contact us. We will not treat you differently for using your privacy rights. We may need to confirm your request before acting on it.
13. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. International users
Crumb Studios LLC is based in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, the information you send may be processed in the United States or in other countries where our service providers operate.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, such as through an App update or a notice on this website.
