Troubleshooting

Many problems can be fixed with these steps. Try them in order.

The game won’t open, freezes or crashes
  1. Close Merge Kingdom Survivors completely: swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or double-click the Home button), then swipe the game away.
  2. Open the game again.
  3. Restart your iPhone or iPad.
  4. Make sure you have the latest version of Merge Kingdom Survivors from the App Store.
  5. Make sure your device has the latest version of iOS or iPadOS that it supports (Settings → General → Software Update).
  6. Check that your device has free storage space (Settings → General → iPhone Storage or iPad Storage).
How do I play?

Drag anywhere on the screen to move your hero. Your weapons attack on their own. Drag two matching weapons together in the armory to merge them into a stronger one, and drag two different tier 4 or higher weapons together to fuse a Mythic evolution. You can replay the tutorial at any time from the game’s Settings.

My progress is missing

Merge Kingdom Survivors saves your coins, heroes and upgrades on your device. Deleting the App removes your saved progress. If your progress is missing without you deleting the App, please do not delete or reinstall it. Contact us first so we can help.

There’s no sound
  • Turn up your device volume using the volume buttons while the game is open.
  • Check that Silent Mode is off. On some devices, silent mode mutes game sound.
  • Check the music and sound options in the game’s Settings.
  • Disconnect Bluetooth headphones or speakers, or check that they are connected correctly.
Performance is slow or the battery drains quickly
  • Close other apps that are running in the background.
  • Restart your device.
  • Turning off Low Power Mode may improve performance, and turning it on may help battery life.

Ads and Remove Ads

Merge Kingdom Survivors is free to play. It may show an ad when a run ends, never during play.

  • Remove Ads: tap NO ADS on the main menu to buy Remove Ads. It is a one-time purchase that turns ads off for good on every device signed in to the same Apple Account.
  • Ads came back after reinstalling, or on a new device: open the game’s Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you used to buy it.
  • Ad privacy choices: where the law requires it, the game asks for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time with Privacy Choices in the game’s Settings.

Refunds and purchases: Apple handles App Store payments and refunds. To request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.

Reporting a problem

If you have any problem with Merge Kingdom Survivors that these steps don’t fix, email us at crumbstudios@proton.me. Please include:

  • your device model (for example, iPhone 15 or iPad Air);
  • your iOS or iPadOS version (Settings → General → About);
  • the Merge Kingdom Survivors version (shown on its App Store page);
  • what you were doing when the problem happened, and what you expected to happen; and
  • screenshots or a screen recording, if possible.
